We are currently seeking Auditors for one of our Downtown Albany area clients. In addition to the general requirements below, this role will be responsible for collecting data, interpreting spreadsheet and database information and generating reports as needed. These are expected to be full time, Monday through Friday positions.
We are seeking a Call Center Auditor to join our team for a TOP client for NYS! You will be responsible for helping customers by providing product and service information and resolving technical issues.
These positions are basically "semi-permanent". If they like you and you do well, they will want to keep you long term. They are looking for long-term placements as the training can take between 6 and 8 months to fully grasp. They have a collection of manuals for each medical department they work with, some over 100 pages, and each manual has hundreds and hundreds of codes they need to learn. The call center takes between 800-900 calls a week, and some calls can be up to 15 minutes in length. Their ideal candidate is not job-jumpy, and they really want people who can commit to the job. Attendance is a big issue here - coming in late or leaving early, or taking excessive time off, really hurts the rest of the team. Call-center experience helps, but is not necessary, medical office experience is VERY useful as well (they will be familiar with many of the codes used in this office.) 1. Office experience (Medical preferred)
2. Multiple Phone line and computer experience
3. A base knowledge of Medicaid or health insurances.
4. Able to work in an office setting that has a strict schedule. For example: Not having any issues with having a scheduled break which are only 15 minutes long and hour unpaid lunches assigned to them.
5. Able to accept new tasks without having any issues accepting the new tasks
6. Willing to accept a directive from their supervisors without having any difficulties
7. MUST have impeccable attendance records (As you know this is a huge issue here)
8. Have a good attitude in regards to flexibility.
In addition to having some base knowledge in dealing with a busy medical office setting with multiple phone lines or call center experience involving Medicaid, Health Insurance questions. Professionalism and great customer service is our major objective at our call center. However, a basic knowledge of Medicaid is extremely beneficial because we deal with all providers and clients who are enrolled in NYS fee for service Medicaid for five different units of Medicaid. We also work with some out of state hospitals and agencies who are also enrolled in NYS Medicaid. Therefore, there is a lot of information to obtain in regards to our policies and procedures. This is why we emphasize to your agency the importance of, experienced call center representatives, really good attendance ratings, as well as some medical and insurance knowledge.
