Position Summary:

We are seeking reliable and hard-working Production Utility Workers to support our bubble-making production line on the day shift. Working closely under the direction of the Operator and Assistant Operator, this role is responsible for assisting with daily production activities to ensure efficient manufacturing, quality compliance, and a clean and safe work environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Operators with quality checks and help ensure products are made to spec.
  • Prepare materials and supplies (bags, cores, labels, boxes) and assist with cycle counts.
  • Operate grinders to process scrap material for reuse or disposal.
  • Handle and maintain solvent, glue, and oil areas; change glue totes and restock press crews.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including proper handling of waste and spills.
  • Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE.
  • Report any incidents, hazards, or unsafe conditions to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Participate in safety training and meetings.
  • Communicate effectively with team members across shifts.
  • Rotate between production lines and areas as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read tape measures and record quality data accurately.
  • Strong basic math and mechanical skills.
  • Forklift or Powered Industrial Vehicle experience preferred (will train the right candidate).
  • Physically able to work 12-hour shifts in a manufacturing environment.

CNC Operator

POSITION SUMMARY

Sets-up and operates CNC and manual equipment following standard machining methods and procedures; produces  parts to production and quality standards; documents machining and general machining processes in the form of

standard operating procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Program, set-up and operate all CNC lathe / VMC machining centers, manual machines (lathes, drill presses, mills, routers, grinding machines etc.) and measuring equipment to produce quality parts within deadlines

• Converts designs and drawings into code programming language for CNC equipment. Validates programs to established specifications.

• Determines dimensions and tolerances of piece to be machined, sequence of operations and machines needed by studying specifications, such as blueprints, sketches, damaged parts or descriptions of parts.

• Inspects parts, tooling, and material to specifications.

• Maintains area, equipment, and tooling in safe, clean and satisfactory operating condition.

• Monitors work to ensure that machine is functioning properly.

• Works from draft drawings and written instructions to create replacement and new parts as well as for tooling or

prototype equipment.

• Identify production standards for set-up and machine times

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 3 years machining experience including ability to set-up / operate preferred. Strong knowledge of machining, machining practices, tooling, drafting, CNC machines, controls, programming, measuring equipment and

techniques.

• Ability to program CNC lathes and VMC machines

• Ability to troubleshoot CNC operating/programming issues.

• Demonstrated verbal and written communication as well as mid-level math skills.

• Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
